I found it refreshing to work with the Shark Mako Product Rep as he answered all my questions and concerns before I purchased the SHARK.
Assembly was easy and straightforward.
My first ride went smoothly as I tested the bike on 10 miles of pavement, crushed granite bike path, a bit of single-track, and loose sandy shoulders along the road. The bike handled very well and the mtn bike riding position was better than I expected.
Shifting was smooth and the Class 1 & 2 assist functionality worked perfectly.
The attention to detail on the seat quality, handlebar selection, choice of pedals, integrated lighting, and the speedometer/info center was/is apparent.

My commute is 35km one way. The 100km range means I can go to work and back WITHOUT charging at office! The 60km/h speed cuts travel time. Smart mode uses regenerative braking downhill. Suspension comforts my back on long rides. Worth every penny!
